About the cat of Wheat & Whiskers
Basil is one of our cherished family cats. She was found by someone in New Port Richey behind a dumpster. She was under one year old, malnourished, and very pregnant. The Humane Society of Brooksville took her in and helped raise her kittens to adoption age. My family and I adopted her six months after she had been with them. She is now five years old and is our mama cat of the house. She truly is magic

Hello, My name is Sydney. I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the proud owner of Wheat & Whiskers. With a degree in pastry arts and 15 years of experience under my belt, baking is not just a hobby for me – it’s my obsession. From decadent cakes to pastries, I pour my heart and soul into each and every treat that comes out of my kitchen. I believe in using only the finest ingredients while creating all of my hand crafted recipes. Being able to share my love for baking and cats with others brings me so much joy, and I can’t wait to whip up something sweet for you soon!
